As part of the GOLDENTREE GROUP, Swee Construction & Transport Co. Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated in the year 1959 in Malaysia, much like its related companies in Singapore and Brunei. Soon, it secured its first contract from the Public Works Department of Kedah in the early 60s to manufacture, supply and delivery of bitumen macadam for road surfacing.

In fact, Malaysia will be the main playing field for the Goldentree Group with long stretches of highways running from south to north and east to west. For this reason, subsidiary companies are formed to compliment the main road construction projects such as Swee Quarry Sdn. Bhd. to quarry for aggregates; Swee Premix Sdn.Bhd. to produce premix concrete; Swee Logistics Sdn. Bhd. to provide logistic support within the Group and outside the Group; Rock Processors Sdn. Bhd. to process diverse types of aggregates for its construction needs. Not only it is self-sufficient, it is also able to support other developers both on material supplies, logistic services and construction machinery rents.
